Robyn Weatherley earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with distinction (Glass) at the Alberta University of the Arts (AUArts) in 2010. She went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts (Glass/Ceramics) at Tyler School of Art at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA in 2013, where she was also awarded a highly competitive Temple University Fellowship and Teaching Assistantship for the duration of her graduate studies. Currently, she lives and works in Calgary, Canada.
Robyn’s interests lie in exploring the intangible, elusive, and invisible aspects of human perceptual experience and memory. She is drawn to the intricacies within the struggles and fluctuating boundaries between the inside and outside of the body, between body and place, and between the material and energetic world.
